  3. CHECKERS - an AmigaBASIC game.  You can play against the computer, or
  4.     against another player.  Use the mouse to choose a piece to move,
  5.     and click on the place where you want the piece.  The game protects
  6.     against illegal moves.
  7.  
  8. SHOWIZ - a really good program for displaying pictures and textfiles.  It
  9.     will display one or a directory-full or a disk-full.  If you want to
  10.     write a script-file, you can.  Otherwise, it will display each picture
  11.     or textfile as it comes to them, moving on after 30 seconds.  This is
  12.     a VERY nice program  Shareware, $10 and $15 suggested.  Has 23 choices
  13.     of ways to move the frames onto the screen!

  15. LIBCAT12 - uses the Dewey Decimal System to help maintain records of a
  16.     library (personal or otherwise).  There are many options to the
  17.     program, even including the option to print spine labels.  Options
  18.     permit searches and printed reports based on searches.  Except that
  19.     it uses the Dewey Decimal System, now largely replaced by ISBM numbers,
  20.     it appears to be a most useful and capable program.

  22. BMAT - came with no documentation at all.  This appears to be a version of
  23.     BFormat, a program that will format disks on which there is a bad spot
  24.     by marking whole bad tracks as used.

  26. CRAPS - written in TrueBASIC, then compiled.  Simulation of the casino Craps
  27.     game.  There seem to be quite a few options, but someone who gambles
  28.     more than I will have to explain them.  It is colorful and appear to
  29.     work.

  31. IBELIEVE - a SONIX tune of the same name.  This will need to be moved to
  32.     a disk that has the Player program for SONIX, or else to be used with
  33.     SONIX itself.  It will not play as presented here.

  35. VICHECK1 - a virus checker from Germany, said to detect the SCA virus or all
  36.     non-standard boot blocks.  No source given.  Use at your own risk.

  38. DISKPERF - checks the speed of disk drives.  It checks for a number of
  39.     items, number of seeks, speed for each seek, time to load in a file,
  40.     etc.  Sample times for floppies and several hard disks are included
  41.     in the documentation file.

  43. VIRUSX1.5 - Steve Tibbet's latest assault on the virii.  This one was
  44.     written to add a new strain of the Byte Bandit virus that had come
  45.     to his notice. Comes with both source and a makefile.  RECOMMENDED.
